We understand that students seek a room change for any number of reasons. Whether you are experiencing roommate conflict, simply want to swap rooms, or merely want a change in environment, our staff is here to help you.
Students who wish to change their room assignment should contact their RA or the Assistant Director in their area.
Room changes will be made based on space availability. If space is not available for a student to change to, our staff will continue to work with you.
If you have a vacancy in your room, please make sure the extra furniture and closet is free and clear for a new student to move-in. Additionally, you will recieve 24 hours notice (when possible) of a new roommate via your Furman email. While there may be some situations that we cannot provide 24 hours notice, we will make sure that you are aware of a new roommate.
