Campus Safety Housing Furman University

Your safety is our priority. Our gated campus is located in one of Greenville's safest areas, and is patrolled by a force of state-certified officers. This unit is separate from, but operates in cooperation with, the Greenville County Sheriff's Department.​

Each of our residence halls have secure access, requiring students to swipe their Furman ID card before entering their dormitory. Each student will receive an ID card during orientation.

If you need to report an incident or request an escort, our police officers are available 24 hours a day. Contact them at 864.294.2111.
