Heller Service Corps was founded with the purpose of shaping students to become civic-minded, service-oriented leaders in their communities. Our students have taken that heart.
Since its founding in 1965 as the Collegiate Educational Service Corps, Heller Service Corps has become the largest student organization at Furman University. We place more than 1,800 students in agencies serving the Greenville and Upstate South Carolina community each year. Every service opportunity helps our students grow as leaders. From hosting community events on our campus to working at local animal shelters, our students impact the community for the better.
Heller Service Corps has a rich history of community service, local support, and national recognition. Learn more.
