Celebrating 50 years with 50,000 acts of kindness.

Furman students have a passion for helping others—and that ambition is realized through the Heller Service Corps. Originally known as the Collegiate Educational Service Corps, Heller Service Corps has transformed into the largest student organization at Furman. For five decades, our students have given their time, and their heart to make a difference. They work and volunteer with more than 60 agencies across South Carolina and have made a measurable impact on the Greenville community and beyond. In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we ask that you help us reach our goal of 50,000 volunteer hours during the month of October.

We want to celebrate our 50th anniversary by doing what we do best—serving the community and helping others. That’s why, for the month of October, we’re asking our entire community—students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the University—to give back. Help us serve 50,000 volunteer hours by sharing with us how you’re making a difference.
